You In Their Lenses
Description
The journey of life is somewhat complex than it is usually obvious to our consciousness, but you get a great deal out of it when you decide to be more intentional about how you live it. Its complexity is so much that each one of us doesn’t live it in isolation but in collaboration with so many entities such as the physical environment and of course the environment of other people. With such ideas in mind, on 29th October 2024 a thought of curiosity intrigued me and I remembered an account of Jesus Christ asking his disciples a question and he said, ”Who do people say I am?” and Simon Peter one of his disciples gave him some interesting answers. And just when he thought he was done responding, Jesus probed him further and asked him to give his personal perspective of who he thought Christ was. As I pondered on this, I also got interested in finding out from others in my circle what their honest opinion of me was. In no time, I realised there was so much potential in other people’s views of me that I could actually discover more of myself through them. True to that thought, as people begun pouring out their responses, I had so much to learn. That’s how this book you are reading now got inspired.
